Djoing , November 17th, 2010, 12:18 pm

As a co-author of QD, I got to see this page before it was up here!

kevansevans , November 17th, 2010, 12:39 pm

Might be possible, there are a few cases where a paradox might not happen. And its not going to happen, otherwise this comic would end...

One situation of no paradox is if the "Future" Amy succeeds in preventing a past event from happening, if it never happened, Future Amy wouldn't of gone back in time in the first place, thus it would of never happened.

The second is that the "Future" Amy isn't from the future, but in a parallel universe that is very similar to this one... Anyone seen the old sci-fi drama sliders? This is the exact case...

Sorry for taking this in a very literal term, but its common sense...

Kirbysmith [DJ] , November 17th, 2010, 1:10 pm

^Actually, Kevan, you're making total sense. I saw an old B&W episode of The Twilight Zone (or was it The Outer Limits?) that had a guy wind up in a parallel dimension slightly, yet noticeably different from his own and even met his family (or rather, his other self's family) there.

I can believe that a similar thing is happening here.

Blitzn'Burst , November 17th, 2010, 1:30 pm

2nd to last panel is makes tails look like a boy again. missing eyelashes=misleading

Christh^^ , November 17th, 2010, 2:02 pm

Shouldn't the universe as they know like explode or implode or sumthin'? Or is it that they all turn into cheese/squids?

Koren , November 17th, 2010, 2:10 pm

Paradox! Oh shi- <Insert end of world here>

Ultimate the Hedgehog , November 17th, 2010, 2:12 pm

Jake E. Fisher , November 17th, 2010, 2:18 pm

kinji , November 17th, 2010, 2:23 pm

I get the feeling...
...that a demension portal will rip open, and a monster inside of this said portal will come out and attack everyone on sight.

Ghost Fox , November 17th, 2010, 2:53 pm

*aforementioned spatial rift opens* *The Ing appear*
Well this is a bad sign...

InfiniteRemnant , November 17th, 2010, 11:31 pm

@Harrow, that's an understatement. try crushed by a steamroller.

Delta-Pangaea , November 18th, 2010, 12:56 am

This will be interesting, to say the least.

But due to my delusions of intelligence, I must put forth my own theories about time travel in general, far outstepping the reasonable bounds of my year 12 education.

The classic paradox being the 'grandfather' paradox, of somehow erasing your existance, or otherwise doing something to stop yourself time travelling, (like going back in time to destroy the time machine before you can use it), has two possibile resolutions (in my warped mind anyway).

First off, let's say you do it, and create a time loop. What people don't think of is random chance. Eventually, you'll reach a loop where you decide NOT to do whatever causes the time loop. Problem solved.

The other possibility is actually the same as when people don't think about time travel as much. Just because the timeline you came from is gone, does that mean you disappear? You have effectively been destroyed in one time and created in another. You as a person exist in another time now, so would be unaffected by what happens in the old one.

Feel free to challenge my ridiculously dubious wisdom. I actually encourage it.

EDIT: Also, long post is looooooong.

G.B.A , November 18th, 2010, 3:08 am

I thought this was a Multi-verse crossover?

How can that cause a Paradox?

MercenaryX , November 18th, 2010, 3:56 am

Yeah, I'm asking that my self
As G.B.A. put it, but I have to ask why does everyone thin time paradox when it's a crossover between two comics that are pretty much two different worlds?

Seriously, can someone please explain it to me?

fangirl65 , November 18th, 2010, 7:46 am

wha say wha

InfiniteRemnant , November 18th, 2010, 7:53 am

@MercenaryX, cause confusing the ones that don't realize that is funny. duh.

at least that was my reason.

Sir Bacon , November 18th, 2010, 8:33 am

Even were it a paradox, it'd be more of a space paradox than a time paradox. There's nothing to indicate these are the *same* Amy on any given timeline, so the only paradox that would possibly exist would be the paradox that two Amys are in two different places, which would be no more of a paradox than a clone or a twin anyways.

Nina The Kitsune , November 18th, 2010, 10:58 am

I love sonics face. Hes all "FFFFFUCK THERE ARE TWO OF THEM OH GOD!"

Xavier the Fox , November 18th, 2010, 1:55 pm

C-c-c-c-c-c-CROSS OVER!!!

Inferno the Fox (Guest) , November 18th, 2010, 3:00 pm

If this was Back to the Future, the world would immediantly cease to exist. At least, according to Doc brown.

Ghost (Guest) , November 19th, 2010, 8:46 am

@Infinite: YOU THINK THAT'S HARD?! Try to Triforce!

Aurax (Guest) , November 19th, 2010, 11:36 am

You should try saving the entire universe from silence after your TARDIS explodes.
But you humans, what a tangled web you can weave. My life is so much more straightforward, just as I was telling my friends the other day after reverse-transitioning the flux neutrinos of a sentient crystal quasar that was threatining to engulf the entire galaxy by repolarising it's light spectra.

Ghost Fox , November 19th, 2010, 2:36 pm

Didn't the Time Lords originally plan to let the universe take it's course?
ALSO, I've battled many aliens in my time and saved Humanity several times over and then some.
You, AuraX, would not have a chance against an Ethereal or a Lobsterman. Ethereals have mental powers so great they can defy the laws of physics. Lobstermen are living juggernauts, incredibly strong and agile, able to withstand a great deal of punishment.
Don't get me started on the Chryssalid...

AuraX (Guest) , November 19th, 2010, 3:45 pm

Have you ever tried taking on krillitanes, axons or cybermen?

a fan (Guest) , November 20th, 2010, 12:43 am

Dalek's would kill you all... EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!

but enough of that, hope female tails doesn't get annoyed by two amies cloths shopping hehehe.

bob (Guest) , November 20th, 2010, 5:15 pm

2 amys

Aurax (Guest) , November 23rd, 2010, 2:45 pm

ACTUALLY, i've faced some dalek survivors from spiridon. And won against them and their new creation, the dalek storm.

Asj , November 20th, 2011, 8:47 pm

I'm disappointed that only one person knows about Sliders. v_v
And I don't think it's possible for a time paradox, when time isn't even involved.

hmm... have I commented before? I'm curious about the story, so I've been looking at the pages every so often. ^_^" I like things similar to this.
Also, I like the way the title's done at the top there. That's kind'a neat.

hedge the hog (Guest) , September 23rd, 2012, 5:51 pm

O_O Another paradox.

Ultimate the Hedgehog , March 13th, 2013, 1:30 am
